Biography
He
was born in 1964 in Karşıyaka. Primary, secondary and high school
education, respectively; He completed Ankara Primary School, Karşıyaka
O.O and İzmir Atatürk High School. He graduated from Ege University
Faculty of Agriculture "Agricultural Products Technology Department" in
1987. He received his Master's Degree in Dairy Technology in 1990 on
"Research on the Durability and Quality of Kefirs Produced from
Different Heat Treated Cow's Milk and Kefir Culture and Grain". In
1997. Also, he completed his PhD on "Fruit Yogurt Production,
Preparation of Fruit Mixture, Studies on Yogurt Duration and Some
Properties" in the same department. He
started to work as a Research Assistant in the Dairy Technology
Department in 1988. He was appointed as Assistant Professor to the same
department in 2000. Cem Karagözlü, who became "University Associate
Professor" in the field of Food Engineering in 2012, is the author of 7
books, 2 of which are translated, and 8 books, 1 of which is foreign, in
addition to national and international publications and papers. Cem
Karagözlü, who speaks English, is a member of the National Codex
Sub-committee on Milk and Dairy Products Communiqués of the Ministry of
Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Turkey, and a member of the
scientific board of SETBİR, Tourism Gourmet Association and Turkish Food
Associations Federation. He is a member of the Board of the Ege
University Alumni Association, Ege University Aid Association and EU
Aliye Üstüner Foundation. Currently E.U. Cem Karagözlü, who continues
his academic and educational studies in the Dairy Technology Department
of the Faculty of Agriculture, is married and has a child.
