Assocciate Professor ATALAYIN OZKAYA graduated from Ege University School of Dentistry in 2007. She started her PhD education at Ege University School of Dentistry, Department of Restorative Dentistry in the same year, supported by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey Domestic PhD Scholarship Program. She was appointed as a research assistant in this department in 2011. She completed her PhD education in 2013 and received Dr. Med. Dent title. In 2018, she was appointed as Assistant Professor and she received the title of Associate Professor in 2019. She is still working at Ege University School of Dentistry, Department of Restorative Dentistry.
Her academic interests are dental pulp stem cells, restorative materials, biocompatibility, antibacterial materials and restorative treatments. She has articles published in indexed international journals and national journals on her field of interest. She participated in international and national congresses, symposiums, courses, conferences and has presentations. She participated in scientific research projects as manager and researcher. She has scientific activity awards. In 2014, 2015 and 2017, she successfully completed the summer courses of Goettingen Spirit Summer School on Biological Research in Dentistry with participation support.
She is a member of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR), the European Organization for Caries Research (ORCA), the Society of Restorative Dentistry and the Society for Stem Cell and Cellular Therapies.
