The survey was carried out in 98 orchards in 17 districts of Izmir to determine its spread. Observation on biology was made in the orchards of Kemalpap and Bornova districts. As a result of the study, it was determined that C. platyptera adults started to appear after the first week of June, the density was very low. C. platyptera was mostly found on cherry, olive, peach, almond, fig, grapevines and on some weeds.
