Abstract

This work investigates the phase states of the sodium dodecylsulphate + water + decanol lyotropic system and determines the phase diagram of the system. We investigate the mesomorphic, morphologic, refracting and thermotropic properties of the lamellar D, hexagonal E, nematic-calamitic N-c and nematic-discotic N-d mesophases which take place in this system where we investigate large concentration and temperature intervals.
