Abstract

In this paper, laminar flow around a vibrational beam is modelled by using the phase field method to reduce numerical costs and evaluate larger to very larger deformations by dividing solid and fluid domains into the inner and outer regions, applying corresponding constitutive laws and boundary conditions and taking converge solution for the outer region as the initial boundary condition for obtaining solution of the inner region to alleviate stabilization problem.
