Abstract

Objective: Polycystic ovary syndrome is a syndrome of ovarian dysfunction. Oxidative stress, inflammation and endothelial cell activation are thought to play concomitant roles in the pathogenesis of the above diseases particularly in the development of atherosclerotic lesions.
