Abstract

The erotic acid concentrations of cow's, sheep's and goat's milks were measured by HPLC using reverse phase. Recovery of added erotic acid from cow milk was >90%. Mid-lactation cow, sheep and goat milks contained 82.43 +/- 9.64; 30.59 +/- 1.71 and 23.87 +/- 1.36 mg/l orotic acid, respectively.
