Studies have been carried out in five different biotopes such as the zones of stream plants, grasses, bushes, oaks and chestnut trees. Consequently, 20 species belonging to ten subfamilies of Tenebrionidae have been determined by use of the pitfall traps during the period of April-October, 2001. Biotope containing oak trees is the richest one in terms of both the numbers of species and specimens trapped in the area. Among the trapped species it has been found out that Dendarus messenius Brullé has been captured in all the five biotopes and that Tentyria rotundata mittrei Soliér, Pimelia subglobosa polita Soliér and Probaticus tenebricosus Brullé have been encountered in four biotopes.
