Abstract

Human being has always been eager to get some information about future since the earliest times. Thus, they have made predictions about future by using some devices and interpreting some signs. These predictions are regarded as briefly "fortune". It is known that types of fortune are common among Turkish tribes. Among the devices used for telling fortune are few distinguished books. Qur'an, the holy book of Islam, is one of these leading books in terms of including the subject of fortune. Consequently, the fortune which used Qur'an as a device is called "Qur'an Fortune".
